It is likely that you have certain blocks stopping you from becoming the confident person you deserve to be. Want to find out what these blocks are? If you think you can never be confident, think again.
Lets check out the some of the most common blocks to self confidence.
Do you feel You do not deserve to have a successful life
Hard to believe but many people have this problem. Consciously you say that you want to be confident yet deep down you think you don’t deserve it because you are not good enough as a person. It’s similar to believing you don’t deserve happiness or success. As long as this block remains, it will be very hard to reach your confidence goal.
You are afraid to be confident
Sometimes people are more afraid of changes they have to face due to success than due to failures. It is the same story with self confidence. If you become confident and begin to fulfill your goals and ambitions, it would bring a lot of change to your world. A lot of people find change to be a very scary thing.
Do you believe confidence means arrogance
Perhaps you have met people who seemed overly confident – so confident in fact that they came across as arrogant and rather obnoxious. You may worry that you will become so confident that you will forget who you really are.
You think certain people are born with a confidence gene and are ‘lucky’
You fear what others will think of the new, confident you.
Most of us care deeply what others think of us. We are often surrounded by other people who low confidence in themselves and they become our mirrors. This often gives us a sense of belonging. The ones close to us always reinforce that. Becoming more confident means changing and sometimes this isn’t favored by those around us – they might be hostile to or jealous of our pursuit of confidence and fulfillment. They might feel threatened too and subsequently you might be worried that you will lose friends.
You think you are too shy to be confident
many people wrongly belive that being shy means you should not have confidence. In fact if you are shy getting rid of shyness should be a good reason why you want to become confident
