Rewind to 2001

There were 25,000 people in the hall from 14 countries, a man stalked to the podium. Everyone waited with baited breath for him to start speaking. He began to talk..the start of his 8 minute speech that was going to win him that year’s World Public Speaking Championship. He was a master. He could deliver the most interesting and entertaining presentation. And he intuitively seemed to know how to make people laugh and gain trust.

There was magic in the air
